You mean the 'moviewatch' or the story :P
I was always on the edge of my seat during the combat sections, which weren't particularly elaborate but were damn good fun, while the storyline didn't really push any buttons for me.
Mario 3D World doesn't have a story element worth mentioning but it kept me engaged throughout and certainly brought out plenty of emotion.
They would need to convince me not to just keep my old consoles, which I honestly doubt they can.
Fully expect it to come to Xbox One..
Can't say I'm too excited for it though, Braid was pretty meh.
Why has this even been posted when we know the numbers are wrong, as per Microsoft's announcement yesterday that Xbox One has sold over three million? If there's a story it would be that 'vgchartz' is challenging official Microsoft figures, but obviously they're not.
As you said, the game itself is very good - thrilling, challenging, deep and very replayable.
Child of Eden with Kinect was one of the best things I played in the past gen so I feel your pain. I'm hoping Fantasia from Harmonix can scratch that itch.
Well there's a few new last-gen games I still plan to play, and others I've just missed playing previously including Games with Gold ones.
But yes, Fable feels like a last hurrah - hopefully a glorious one befitting of the great console the Xbox 360 has been.
If the Xbox 360 has been going for eight years then the PS3 has being going for one year less, so Sony need to support their console through 2014 to match Microsoft's support (and indeed into 2015, now). This doesn't seem to have dawned on a lot of people yet!
Taken year by year, I would say 360 topped PS3 for exclusives in 2010 and 2012 at least, not just with those big franchises but also with XBLA and Kinect, which are often forgotten. If you don't like those p...
Nice article - from the Magnavox Odyssey to the Microsoft Xbox One we've come a long way.
Go on my son!
Cool article, but I'm much more excited for Titanfall, Watch Dogs, DK: Tropical Freeze, Infamous Second Son and Quantum Break. Should be an excellent year.
It's been going for over eight years now so it's only to be expected that support will taper off in 2014 - personally I want to see Microsoft move their talent on to Xbox One after the last few announced games land. I'm expecting Fable Anniversary to be my last 360 exclusive.
Sony needs to work to address the idea that it's a console for hand-me-down ports of indie games - this perception seems to be being hammered in by indie developers, because it's to their advantage, but it's not at all flattering for such a high-tech machine.
..where's Rodea at?
Some were getting carried away with silly predictions about Xbox One being a tech disaster but Microsoft reacted really quickly, changed pretty much everything that was contentious, and we now have a console that's selling well and has a super lineup.
Good comments, you've done a nice job too Phil.
I really hope he's serious about going back to old IPs, the way Nintendo does so well - there's a lot of Xbox stuff that deserves to be resurrected.
I mean genuine killer apps - I was thinking Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii and NSMBWii. I agree there's loads more excellent games on Wii though.
I liked Grand Theft Auto and TLOU but of the two, I'd have to go with GTAV.
Anyway, Super Mario 3D World says hi.
Totally agree about needing killer apps - Nintendo managed to deliver at least three or four on Wii so it's not unthinkable that they can do it again.
Mario Kart is a good start.
I assumed this just means he has meetings or whatever today..
